Healthcare cost guidance

Find out which part of healthcare spending is actually creating the pressure.

Premiums, prescriptions, deductibles, copays, provider access, and supplemental benefits are different problems. CKT’s guided process separates them before you compare coverage.

Start with your current coverage context

Employer coverage

Compare what you pay, who is covered, provider access, prescriptions, and what changes when employment or eligibility changes.

Marketplace / ACA

Marketplace plans differ by location, household circumstances, network, metal level, cost sharing, and available premium tax credits. Use current Marketplace information when comparing options.

Medicare / Medicaid

Medicare and Medicaid have different eligibility rules and coverage structures. Some people qualify for both, which can materially change the coverage and assistance questions to review.

Prescription affordability deserves its own review

CKT’s existing site placed special emphasis on helping people understand prescription-cost assistance. That remains a dedicated resource rather than being buried inside a general insurance page.

Supplemental coverage is not a substitute for primary medical coverage

Dental, vision, hearing, hospital-indemnity, and other supplemental policies may address specific gaps, but they should be evaluated in the context of the primary health coverage already in place.

Understand the options first. Decide what fits second.
